A memorial serivce has been planned Monday January 27th at 2pm in Westlake, Ohio for former Cleveland Browns linebacker Eddie Johnson.
The service will be held at the Church on the Rise located at 3550 Crocker Road in Westlake, Ohio.
The Albany native died Tuesday night of colon cancer at the age of 43.
Johnson played nine seasons in Cleveland where Browns fans dubbed him the "Assassin".
The family is asking in lieu of flowers that contributions can be made to the Eddie Johnson Foundcation in care of the Cleveland Browns.
The donations can be sent to the Browns Public Relations or Alumni Relations departments.
There are two addresses. The Public Relations Department is located at 76 Lou Groza Boulevard Berea, Ohio 44107.
The Alumni Relations address is 1985 West 3rd Street Cleveland, Ohio 44114.
