ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Bishop J. Nathan Paige founded the True Praise Ensemble 20 years ago. In 1989 it was named Albany United Youth Choir.

The bishop says he started the group as a workshop for kids in the community so they would have something positive to do for fun.

Now, all the kids are all grown up and many of them traveled from all over parts of the united states to take part in this special occasion.

"We've done songs we've sung in the past so it wasn't that hard to get everyone together and remember the songs just coming together reminiscing, thinking about old times," said Bishop J. Nathan Paige.

Members of the choir also got together for a 10th anniversary as well.
