ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Support continues to pour out for an Albany family dealing with a tremendous loss.

Dozens gathered at the Flint River Harley Davidson on Old Dawson Road this morning rolled up their sleeves and started scrubbing down cars for donations.

All the money earned will go to the Fenn family.

3-year-old Jeremiah Fenn Junior died this month after flash fire inside the family's home.

Today event organizers raised more than 1,200 dollars to help with the family's expenses.

"Their going to be going through a lot of stress for the next year going through the healing process so were just trying to help them out so they don't lose everything you know just one less thing they will have to worry about so they can focus more on the healing process with their family," said event organizer Kimberly Privette

Today's car wash was held by Dougherty County Police.

Just two weeks ago friends and co workers raised more than 2-thousand dollars at another car wash in Lee County.

The family will need lots of support for medical expenses.

1-year-old Ja'el Fenn remains at the Augusta burn center with injuries from the fire.
