Good news, bad news for Turner County

ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - Erik Soliday's Turner County Rebels are coming off a 10 win season and a trip to the Class A quarterfinals.

There is good news and bad news coming off that great season.

The good news is that all starters on both the offensive and defensive lines are back.

The bad news is that the skills players have to replaced.

Senior Markeian Teague and freshman Luke Soliday are battling at quarterback while basketball players Demarcus and Dantravian Daniels could emerge as weapons in the passing game.

Region 2-A is never easy and the goal for this Rebels team is to get all the pieces together for the heart of the region schedule.

Erik Soliday said. "We just need game experience and on the field experience against another team. I think three or four weeks into the season we have got a chance to be competitive over there."

Turner County has a challenging non-region scheduling starting in Sylvester against the Worth County Rams.
