VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - There's a big lottery jackpot drawing Friday.
Georgia's Mega Millons Lottery is worth 146 million dollars.
One Valdosta clerk said the store already sold $400 worth of tickets by lunch time.
They're expecting more ticket purchases as people leave work, with many often buying 10 tickets at one time.
"In the morning when the people are at work it's slow but when they get off sales increase especially on the weekends it increases tremendously," said Dhaval Dsai, retailer. "It goes up and up. After they get they're paychecks, they're ready to try their luck."
The Mega Millions drawing is Friday at 11. Tickets can be purchased until 10:45 for a dollar apiece.
