ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Albany Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Friday morning at gunpoint.

Employees tell police a man wearing a stocking cap over his face came in the doughnut shop at 400 N. Slappey Blvd. around midnight, pulled a gun and demanded money.

Workers didn't give up the money and the gunmen took off running, empty handed.  Police did retrieve surveillance footage.

Investigators aren't certain if this hold up is connected with Sunday's armed robbery at Woodall's on North Slappey. In that case, the suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
