Hinesville, Ga.-- Thousands of Soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia are preparing to deploy to Kuwait. About half of the division is already deployed to the middle east.

Planes and ships are being loaded with troops and equipment this week as the build up continues. Daily flights are headed out of Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field.

Ships are being loaded at the port of Savannah with tanks and other heavy equipment for shipment to the Middle East.
