COOK COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A man who was wrongfully jailed in Cook County and released last month will not have to pay back child support.

Frank Hatley was thought to be the father of Travon Morrison, now 20-years-old.

Two paternity tests nine years ago showed he wasn't the father but Cook County Superior Court Judge Dane Perkins jailed him anyway because he owed thousands of dollars in support. Last month, he was released.

Now, Judge Perkins ruled Hatley owes no more child support and determined once and for all that Hatley is not the father.
