CAIRO, GA (WALB) - Two men robbed a small grocery store in Cairo Monday and got away with cash, lotto tickets, and other merchandise.

It happened around one this afternoon at Butler's Grocery on Martin Luther King Drive.

Jenny Patel was working behind the register when two young dressed completely in black came in, jumped the counter, broke the cash register, and got away with some cash.

They took cigarettes and soda bottles too. Patel says one of them put his hand over her face and she tried to fight back by biting him.

"They put me on the ground, and I'm hurt a little right here, but I'm ok," said Jenny Patel.

No arrests have been made. Patel believes the two robbers were teenagers.
