TALLAHASSEE, FL (WALB) - Florida State head football coach Bobby Bowden hopes fans will have plenty to cheer for this fall.
The Seminoles are picked to win the ACC Atlantic Division after winning nine games and crushing Wisconsin in the Champ Sports Bowl.
The schedule is tough and the Noles offense lacks experience at the skill positions.
Coach Bowden says the Seminoles do have experience in areas where it counts the most.
"You have got a complete offensive line and it has been years since we had that. Last year we started three true pure freshman. This O-line has got another year and that is the thing I like about. You have got a veteran quarterback. So, you have got the nucleus of being able to do it offensively" said Bowden.
"I think for the first time we are honestly confident in this season. Confident in the things we can do. First year coming in 7-6 and last year getting nine wins kind of gives some of us a taste of being successful" said TE Caz Piurowski.
