ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An overnight cashier stared down the barrel of a gun she was robbed at an Albany gas station early this morning.

Officers responded to the Woodall's on North Slappey just at 2:30am Sunday.

The employee said that a man wearing all black clothing and a stocking cap over his head entered the store.

The suspect pointed a handgun in her face while demanding money from the registers.

Another employee and a customer was inside, no one was injured.

The man did get away with cash and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was a black about 5'6" tall and weiged about 160 pounds.

He had on a Black t-shirt and black shorts.
