DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA (WALB) - People crowded an Albany church Saturday to say goodbye to 3-year-old Jeremiah Fenn Junior, he died a week ago from critical burn injuries.

A blue coffin adorned with a wreath was surrounded by pictures of the family. Jeremiah and his sister Ja'el were badly burned in a flash fire at the family's home on July 24th.

At the funeral, his father spoke of the fond memories of his son.

"I loved my son, I'm going to miss the times teaching him how to talk and ride a bike, when got home from work no matter what time it was he was up waiting on me," Jeremiah Fenn, Jeremiah Fenn Jr. Father.

1-year-old Ja'el Fenn remains at the Augusta Burn Center.
