ALBANY, GA (WALB) - If you want to raise money for cancer, you can start by eating wings.

You can join Albany Technical College and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America next Thursday, August 13th at Beef O Brady's to help raise money to fight blood cancer.

If you head to either location, Gillionville or Lee County, from 4 until 9 pm, 10% of the money you spend will be donated by Beef O Brady's to help people fighting the cancer.

"It gets the community involved, it gets people involved. It's good for us, but it's also good to help other people," said Loretta Martin, Assistant Manager.

Next Thursday at the Gillionville location there will be live entertainment for the fundraiser.

Albany Tech hopes to make keep the fundraiser going through September, if they can generate enough support at next week's event.
