ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the best in the nation.

The American Chamber of Commerce Executives recognizes four chambers from across the U.S. for their work in operations, member service, and community leadership.

Albany ranked third out of more than two thousand chambers of similar size across the country.

"We ranked as a finalists actually one of the top three in the nation in the way we provide programs to our community, in the way we work with our business community, the level of volunteerism we have, and the return on investment we get from programs and services we offer," said Catherine Glover, Albany Chamber President.

The national winner in Albany's division was the Bowling Green Chamber in Kentucky.
