College football coaches are naturally very excited on the first day of fall practice.
Albany State coach Mike White is probably as excited as he has ever been entering his tenth season as the Golden Rams coach.

What has coach White so excited is the battles that will take place for starting jobs.
Not only will A.J. McKenna and Wayne Campbell battle for starting quarterback.
Three proven running backs will compete for playing time behind them.
Coach also excited about the offensive line and defense but knows there is not a lot of time to get ready with the season opener three weeks from Thursday.
Mike White said. "That is why it is important that they trained this summer because there is not a lot of time to get in shape because the game is right around the corner.
A.J. McKenna said. "It is preseason. We have got ten games in the regular season and hopefully we get five more in the playoffs. That is the ultimate goal. We are going to go out and work 100 percent and try to make that work."
The Rams open at Chowan University in North Carolina on August 27th.
