VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Two more arrests have been made in the July fifth shooting death of Valdosta resident Jermaine Mitchell.

Raynard Reid was arrested in his Lowndes County home Tuesday. He is charged with felony murder and also for the aggravated assault of Desmond Jones.

18-year-old Aianza Wheeler, the sister of Cheryl Core who was arrested on July 22 for the same crimes, was picked up in Wichita, Kansas Tuesday after murder and aggravated assault warrants was issued. She is currently being held in a Witchita area jail.

Investigators are working on extradition paperwork for Wheeler to come back to Valdosta. This makes four people arrested in this case thus far. As investigators continue work on the case, even more arrests could be made.
