Albany-- Someone set fire to an apartment complex laundromat in South Albany today.

The laundromat, at the Westview Apartment Complex on West Gordon, was torched. Fire investigators think someone stuffed an open hole in the corner of the laundromat with paper, setting it on fire.

An Albany police officer noticed smoke coming from the building just before noon, alerting firefighters. The small fire was quickly contained, the laundromat sustaining $1200 dollars in damage.

There are no leads at this time.
