ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany bike club parked the bikes this weekend and filled bags with school supplies.

Members of the Viper Unit hosted a School Supply giveaway at Robert Cross Park.

Volunteers spent several hours this afternoon with volunteers from Another Level MC packing bags.

Dozens of kids and parents picked up paper, pencils, and all of the basics for this school year.

"The club is a motorcycle club we join to ride but part of that is doing positive things in the community, and Thanksgiving is coming up and we're going to shift down and shift up a couple of gears and do our Thanksgiving drive," Marvin Thomas, Viper Unit Motorcycle Club.

Everything parents and kids picked up today was free.
