MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - A future Olympic diver or two will most likely be in action in Moultrie over the next week with  Moss Farms hosting USA Diving's National Junior Olympic Championships.

The championship is divided into two meets.

The Age Group championships will start Saturday and the Junior Olympic competition will begin next Wednesday.

The top two finishers in the Junior Olympic meet will qualify for the Pan Am games according to Moss Farms head coach Ed Goodman.

Goodman is excited because several of his younger divers on the Moss Farms team will get their first taste of a national meet.

The coach also hopes that home pool advantage will help his team with their scores.

Ed Goodman said. "Last year the Woodlands held it at their pool and they are one of the top teams in the country if not the best in the country. They had one of their best meets ever. Hopefully, in our pool we will get to have one of our best meets ever. "

The USA Diving Junior Olympic championships will end next weekend in Moultrie.
