ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Georgia's workforce is the best in the nation.
The ranking was based on a recent report from CNBC that looked at the success of each state's worker training programs.
Albany Technical College trains many workers in southwest Georgia. Folks there aren't surprised Georgia earned the top spot.
"It's not surprising to me that we're ranked high we certainly have the infrastructure to make sure our workforce is prepared to deliver," said Dr. Anthony Parker, Albany Technical College Pres.
That CNBC study used 40 measures to rank states.
North Carolina was second followed by Florida and Tennessee.
