ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  In the final weeks of the 2009 AF2 regular season, the South Georgia Wildcats were preparing themselves to be on the road for the playoffs.A big win at Tennessee Valley and a big break will keep the Cats home for round one of the playoffs.

It is the second straight year the Wildcats will have a home playoff game for their fans.

Some players from last year though are hoping this game will be redemption from last year.

In case you forgot, the Cats were one minute away from victory over Manchester until a fumbled snap cost the Cats their season and a potential shot at the AF2 championship.

Wildcats nose tackle Courtney Young says that loss haunted him during the offseason and it taught him a very important postseason lesson.

Courtney Young said. "We have just to finish this game and play to the best of our ability. Last year a simple mistake killed us at the end. We have got to finish this thing all the way through."

The Wildcats will host Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Albany Civic Center.

General ticket sales will start Wednesday.
