THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A man Bainbridge police arrested Saturday shocked them when he claimed he was the Devil.

Bainbridge police were called out to Japonica Drive after reports of shots fired in the neighborhood Saturday night around 10:30. A group of people told officers Adam Smith took off running after shots were heard.

When they found him, they arrested him for carrying a concealed weapon. Police say Smith threatening officers saying he was the devil and he would kill them all.

He was taken to the hospital after ramming his head against a wall. He's also charged with obstructing a police officer.
