
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WALB) - The South Georgia Wildcats are headed home and that's where they'll stay for the first round of the playoffs next week.
A thrilling 47-45 win over Tennessee Valley gives South Georgia a 4 seed in the AF2 playoffs after Kentucky lost at Florida 67-39.
The Wildcats were trailing by ten in the 4th quarter Saturday night a fumble recovered by Mel Long allowed the Wildcats to get back in the game and eventually hang on for a two point win.
According to South Georgia GM Ryan Nolen tickets for next Saturday's playoff game will go on sale Monday at 5:00.
