VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police are still trying to figure out if a shooting death Thursday was murder.

20-year-old Shenika Eady was found with a gunshot wound to the neck at 3126 Tyndall Drive.

She died at a hospital.

Police apparently still aren't sure what happened.

"Let me stress to you the person that we're talking to is a person of interest and he has not been charged in any way, shape or form related to this case," said Lt. Bobbi McGraw, Valdosta Police Department.

"He did come down and cooperate with authorities but they're have been no charges filed in this case."

Police are investigating this as a suspicious death.
