ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A civilian worker with MCLB Albany returned home to Tifton Thursday afternoon.

Kenneth Henderson was deployed to Iraq for about a year, he was welcomed home by his wife and son and some Marine Veterans.

Henderson was part of the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle program.

He said the hardest part of being in Iraq was being away from his family.

"The hardest part of that was leaving, and missing holidays and birthday and anniversaries, I missed our 21st anniversary."

Kenneth Henderson, MCLB Civilian Employee, this was Henderson's second deployment.
