ALBANY, GA (WALB) -  Sumter County Sheriff's investigators make a fifth arrest and issue 18 other warrants in a Sumter Co. drug deal gone bad last week.

Quinton Farrell Wilson was arrested Wednesday night and charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated assault and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Wilson was the key figure for orchestrating the assault and kidnapping of one of the drug dealers involved in the deal outside of Andersonville.

When investigators issued a search warrant for his Americus home, they found $18,700 in crack cocaine, weapons, and cash.

Warrants for trafficking cocaine and firearms violations were also taken. The DEA has agreed to assist in the federal prosecution of the case.
