Wildcats offense looking to solve Vipers defense

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The South Georgia Wildcats offense is known for their quick strike ability.

The kryptonite for the Wildcats offense this season has been the Tennessee Valley Vipers defense.

The Vipers defense has held the Wildcats to their lowest offensive scoring output in the last two meetings.

Not surprising since Tennessee Valley is second in the AF2 when it comes to allowing the fewest points.

The Wildcats offense knows the challenge they face Saturday and quarterback Darnell Kennedy knows the Wildcats will have to make some subtle changes to handle the Vipers defense.

Darnell Kennedy said. "We have got to change it up as a quarterback and receiver group and play calling to help those guys out. So, they can keep their aggressiveness. As far as adding some three step drops and some slides there and a couple of screens. Maybe running the football. With a small fullback, we will be able to do that."

Wildcats go for their 11th win of the regular season Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Tennessee Valley.
