South Georgia duo qualifies for US Women's Amateur

ROSWELL, GA (WALB) - Two of the top women golfers in south Georgia have made it to the United States Women's Amateur.

Valdosta's Dori Carter and Moultrie's Anna Leigh Keith tied for medalist honors at a qualifying tournament on Monday in Roswell.

Carter and Keith both shot two under par 70.

Carter just finished her college career at Ole Miss and Keith will play at Vanderbilt this coming year.

The U.S. Women's Amateur starts August 3rd in St. Louis.
