ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Tift County Head Coach Eric Holland held the inaugural Hoops Phi Elite Camp on Friday.
About 30 of South Georgia's most talented basketball players came together for drills.
Coaches from Albany State and Valdosta State were in attendance as well as several Juco Coaches.
Coach Holland is hoping that the event will help put South Georgia on College Coache's radar.
"We're just gonna get together and try to make these kids a little bit better and put them through drills so people can not only recruit them athletically but recruit them for their basketball IQ as well" said Holland.
Holland is planning to have next year's camp sanctioned by the NCAA allowing Division 1 coaches to attend.
