ALBANY, GA (WALB) - As the GBI looks into whether Buie inappropriately wired ADICA money to his estranged wife, Buie provided MoneyGram records that do not reflect the $1,600 wire in question.
His records show four wire transactions totaling $1,200 in March and April.
Last month, Nicole Brown, who says she dated Buie, signed an affidavit claiming Buie hired her to do contract work for ADICA, gave her a two thousand dollar check, then had her cash it and give him back 16-hundred dollars.
She claims he wired that money to his wife for child support. Brown has since changed her story.
The GBI expects to wrap up its investigation next week.
