Students Diagnosed with Swine Flu

Valdosta - Two cases of the H1N1 Swine Flu virus have been confirmed in Valdosta.

A Valdosta State University student and a student taking part in the Governor's Honors Program in Valdosta have been diagnosed with the illness.

Seven hundred students from around Georgia are in Valdosta for the Governor's Honors Program that's being held on the campus of VSU.

So far, no other participants have been diagnosed.

    About 3:30 Saturday morning, Lowndes County E-911 took multiple emergency calls were made about shots fired at an apartment complex in the 1400 block of Baytree Drive.
