Police say 37-year-old Karyn Eutzler held up the pharmacy Monday morning and swallowed a large number of stolen pills when police tried to arrest her.
She spent two days in the hospital but is now out and in the Lowndes County Jail.
"Our sheriffs department is a great sheriffs department," said Lt. Bobbi McGraw. "They're going to make sure that everybody gets good treatment. That's one thing they do if there are any medical issues. They have an actual medical unit at the jail."
Karyn Eutzler will remain under close medical watch at the Lowndes County Jail.
She is being held without bond.
