Two men arrested for Ashburn armed robbery

ASHBURN, GA (WALB) - Two men have been charged with robbing an Ashburn convenience store overnight.

Investigators arrested two hispanic men just around 2 o'clock Tuesday morning.

They don't yet know the men's names, but investigators say around 1 a.m. they pulled guns on a clerk at the BP on East Washington Street and took money.

They were caught on I-75 by Ashburn police, Turner County Sheriff's Deputies, and Georgia State Troopers.

Police are are working with immigration officials to identify the suspects. They're being held in the Turner County jail.

    Five new family medicine doctors will soon enter the workforce after spending three years of their residency here in Albany. Doctors Danielle Andrews, Sarah Codrea, Justin Lancaster, John Macon and Jennifer Yam graduated the Phoebe Family Medicine Residency program Saturday night at the Doublegate Country Club.
