Now Morehead is ready to take his game to the pro leagues overseas.
Buchanan back in town over the weekend for the battle of the south tournament.
Staying in shape for one of several offers he has from European pro teams.
Buchanan would love to play in the NBA like most American players but believes the European experience will help him on and off the court. Leon Buchanan said. "it is a little nervous being out of the country but I look at it as an opportunity to better myself in many different ways. Like me going to Morehead State, that was far away from home where I could concentrate on doing my work and doing what I had to."
Leon Buchanan graduated in May from Morehead State.
