ALBANY, GA (WALB) - For collectors of Eater Seals' ornaments, Christmas has come early this year. Some of the older popular ornaments have been requested by collectors for years, so Easter Seals had four of them reproduced.
Now, collectors can fill in the gaps on their Christmas trees. You can get the original Quail Ornament from 1992, The Old Radium Springs Casino, from 1993. The 1995 Friendship Oak ornament or the 2003 Radium Springs ornament.
"There was a demand," said Rosalyn Horne of Albany Easter Seals. "Every year, people came in and wanted these and these were the four that were the oldest ornaments and that had been sold out for the longest. We had one lady that they said she'd been running an ad in the paper wanting the Oak Tree, so we decided to do a special Christmas in July and offer it to the community."
There are only 250 of each ornament available. They are $15 a piece. To reserve your ornament call Easter Seals at 229-439-7061.
You can also pick them up at the Royal collection or The Carriage Trade while supplies last.
