ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Two men are arrested while stealing copper wire from a vacant Albany business.

Albany Police say they caught Melvin Quimby and Terry Jones red-handed stealing wire inside the Milleneum Mall on Radium Springs Road around 6:30 last night.

A witness called Police when he saw a pickup truck backed up to the vacant building and a security gate broken open.

Officers say they found Quimby and Jones inside the back of the building stripping fuses and wire from an electric box.

They're charged with burglary.
