ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A Magistrate Court judge is one of the latest victims of burglary here in Albany.

Burglars broke into the Northwest Albany home of Judge Victoria Darrisaw and her husband George. They kicked in the back door, then ransacked their home, and stole more than one thousand dollars worth of electronics like TV's, and game systems.

George Darrisaw said  "When you work hard for something and put time into and effort into getting the things that you want and have it taken away from you, it's tragic."

The Darrisaw's replaced their back door with a stronger unit, and improved the security in their home. No arrests have been made.
