ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany woman is in jail tonight accused of stabbing her boyfriend.

Police say 26-year-old Muriel Wesley stabbed 24-year old Derrick Brinner at a home on Station Crossing Drive.

Brinner was taken to a hospital, but his injuries aren't severe.

DEFACS was called to the scene because three children ages 3, 5, and 6 were there.

Police aren't sure if they witnessed the stabbing.

Wesley is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a knife during a crime, and three counts of cruelty to children.
