ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Investigators testified Tuesday in the trial of a man charged in the murder of an out of town job applicant.

A G-B-I crime lab technician testified that 27-year old Brandon Todd was killed by a gunshot to the chest at the Motel 6 on East Oglethorpe Boulevard in November 2007.

20-year old Patrick Jackson is on trial for the murder.

Todd was in town for a job promotion interview when three men tried to rob him.

He had a gun and fired back.

One of robbers, 17-year old Jimmy Teemer,  was also killed.

18-year old Lyndon Johnson has already been convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
