East Albany bank robbery suspect caught in Crisp County - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

Police responded to the Security Bank on East Oglethorpe at about 3:30 this afternoon in reference to a bank robbery.

Police tell us the suspect gave the bank teller a note demanding money.

He got away with an unknown amount of cash and was later arrested in Crisp County, after Worth County deputies spotted and chased him until he crashed.

No one was hurt during the robbery, and there are no indications the suspect was armed.
