DECATUR COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A crop-dusting pilot crashed his plane in a field and was killed Tuesday afternoon in Decatur county.

31-year-old Aaron Green of Oregon was a student at the Ag-Flight training school in Bainbridge.

Around 1:30 Tuesday he was flying over a peanut field about a mile off hwy 310 near Brinson and crashed.

Sheriff deputies don't know how or why the plane went down.

The FAA is on the way to investigate the fatal crash.
