Albany - If you don't have plans for the New Year, here are a few events and parties to choose from. Several churches are hosting New year Eve Celebration. 4 Albany churches are holding a Unity Service, with live music and worship at the Civic Center. The service starts at 9:00PM Tuesday night. Admission is free.

Providence Church will ring in the New Year with a service at the Albany Municipal Auditorium starting at 8. If you want to dance the night away, try the celebration hosted by the Knights at Columbus starting at 8. Tickets are $35 a couple. Or, head out to the Cab Stand for the club's good-bye bash. Boxer's Restaurant and Lounge, The Box, and Harvest Moon will have bands performing New Year's Eve as well.
