VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Two Valdosta restaurants were robbed Sunday night, but police don't think the crimes are connected.

A white man driving a red Chevrolet pick-up truck robbed the Subway inside the Walmart on Norman Drive just after 8:30 PM.  He did not show a weapon, but he threatened to injure a clerk.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and is still at large.

At 11:00 PM, the Krystal's restaurant on Bemiss Road was robbed at gunpoint by two black men.  Police later picked up one of the two suspects in the backyard of a home on North Lee Street.

They have not announced any charges yet.
