ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man is on trial for his suspected role in the shooting death of a Carrollton man in town for a job interview. Jury Selection began Monday morning for 20-year old Patrick Jackson.

He's charged with the murder of 27-year old Brandon Todd. Todd was killed during an exchange of gunfire at the Motel 6 on East Oglethorpe Boulevard in November 2007. He was in town for a job promotion interview with Georgia Power.

Todd was killed in a shootout with a gang of three young armed robbers. Prosecutors say Jackson provided the gun used in the murder. One of robbers, 17-year old Jimmy Teemer, was shot and killed by Todd.

18-year old Lyndon Johnson has already been tried and sentenced to life in prison.
