ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany teenager was caught red-handed just blocks from an East Subway restaurant that was robbed at gunpoint minutes before.

Police say 19-year old Joseph Hunt still had the gun, money, mask, and bag he used in the robbery when they arrested him.

Two gang unit officers spotted Hunt running on East Broad Avenue just minutes after the Subway on East Oglethorpe was robbed.

Two restaurant employees and a customer were in the Subway about 10:30 when a gunman with a shirt tied over his face burst in and demanded money.

He put the money in a white plastic bag. The employees identified Hunt as the robber.

He is now in the Dougherty County Jail.
