ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A 19-year-old man was taken into police custody late Wednesday night following an armed robber at an east Albany restaurant.
Police were called out to the Subway at 2215 East Oglethorpe around 10:30 p.m. Investigators questioned witnesses who say a man entered the restaurant and demanded money before fleeing with undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured
The Albany Gang Unit tracked down a suspect but his name has not been released.
This is the fifth robbery at an Albany Subway restaurant since 2008.
