Fitzgerald & Irwin County- In Fitzgerald, high winds peeled back part of the roof on the Pioneer Housing Systems building, and knocked over several trailers.

In Irwin county, a mobile home was destroyed by winds. The owner says he's grateful he had to work Christmas Eve.

"I'm mostly thankful I wasn't here. These things can be replaced pretty easily. I hadn't ever experienced anything like it really; when I saw it, it was just a shock," says owner Brian Glass.

the storm knocked out power to several hundred Irwin EMC customers. Late Tuesday afternoon, an EMC spokesman said there were only scattered outages and most of those folks should be back on line soon.
