ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany man is charged with breaking into a woman's Doublegate area home and attacking another man with a pick-ax.

Police say 37-year old Phillip Greene chopped his way into 39-year old Robin Walsh's house on Daylor Court just before 2 Wednesday morning, then tried to hit 38-year old Lane Rosen with the ax.

Rosen took the ax away from him.

Greene was arrested later at his home on East Doublegate Drive.

He remains in jail charged with aggravated assault, burglary, and criminal damage.
