The Lee County Trojans got huge wins from Luke Smith (160lb.) and Lewis Brooks (275lb.) to help win the 13th annual Westover Invitational Saturday at Westover High School.
The Trojans tallied 200 points and beat out Shaw by 11.5 points. Smith's pin in the second period over Shaw's Madison Mailot secured his second straight championship in the Westover Invitational. Dougherty's Brandon Beach also repeated as champion, but this year Beach took the 189 lb. title by pinning Lee County's Allen Meeks. Last year Beach won the 171 title. Beach's teammate Arenzo Thomas was also a repeat champion today. Thomas won the 119 lb. division.
