TIFTON, GA (WALB) - Two Tift County men are charged with firing shots during an armed robbery in Tifton.

Police say 35-year-old Lecornus Richardson and 30-year-old Terrell Watson held up the Flash Foods store on West 7th Street Sunday morning.

Witnesses say they went in with their shirts over their heads.

One of the men held the clerk at gunpoint. While the other man grabbed money from the register.

Police believe five shots were fired in the store before the men ran off. Fortunately no one was hurt.
